In July 2008, Air Force Aviation Heritage Foundation is proud to launch with the District of Columbia Chapter of the organization, it's Boeing C-22B web site. The Boeing C-22B program is headed by Vice President of Maintenance Chief Master Sergeant (Ret.) Karl Kaufman. Karl served in the US Army then District of Columbia Air National Guard for over 30 years. When he retired he was the Chief of Quality Control for the 201st Airlift Squadron. With this web site we hope to began to promote the history and heritage of both the Air and Arm National Guard. We would like to thank our web designer, Tammy Gibbins of Dynamic Webscapes and the other members of their team for their wonderful support.

In July 2008 the executive leadership of the Air Force Aviation Heritage Foundation and the restoration group for the Boeing C-22B have entered into talks with leadership throughout the National Guard. In hopes of establishing a support structure to help promote the over 370 years of dedicated service that the National Guard has provided to the United States. This working relationship will hopefully get the word out to people in the different areas and organizations both local and state, throughout the National Guard.
